Thousands of fight fans and friends/supporters of public safety showed up in earnest at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa last Saturday night for the 3rd Annual Omaha Guns & Hoses Charity Boxing Challenge.
The girls of Team Omaha Promos (shown above) were out in force as well. The weather was great outside the arena, the beer was cold inside, and the fights were just plain magnificent! The Firefighters won a closely contested overall win for the team trophy and a year's worth of bragging rights.
Totals are still being tallied from the night, e.g. attendance, number of awesome Omaha Promos designed promotional shirts with custom screen-printed design [grin], and the amount of money generated for local charities such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Special Olympics, but it was obvious to anyone attending, the evening was a roaring success.
